Cyprus Greens Invited to Help Save The Cyprus Grass Snake

November 14, 2010 by · Leave a Comment

The conservation team which is working on the Campaign to Save the Cyprus Grass Snake from Extinction is very small.

It consists of Snake George and Linda Crossley in Cyprus and the owner of the Cyprus Reptiles web site, John Mason, who is resident in the UK.

The ConservationTeam has been so pleased to have the support of people who also Petitioned the EU personally and the now 291 people who have signed the general on line petition who clearly come from all parts of Cyprus, Europe and other parts of the world.

But they cannot do this alone and they need more help.

The European Green Party and the Cyprus Green Party have been invited to run their own independent campaigns to save an endemic Cyprus species from extinction.

We hope that they will decide to join us and use their greater resources and wider reach with political campaigning to achieve success.
